-Why I do what I do-
“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better…” -Albert Einstein
I truly love finding the natural wonder in every living being and capturing them in appealing situations. While I live in Los Angeles, my passion is wildlife photography in their natural habitat. With that said, I pursue many different areas including landscapes/cityscapes, portraiture, photojournalism, street, and action photography. I am very creative at composing an image from what is given to me. Being fortunate enough to travel around the world, I have observed the myriad of ways that humans and animals can live in harmony. And while there are many differences, there are more similarities that we all share.
-What sets me apart-
From childhood, I’ve had a close relationship with nature and animals. Growing up with my father as a zoo director and my mother as a veterinarian, I’ve grown close to the natural world which guides me to appreciate the complexity and beauty of life. My photography combines art and nature in an up close, realistic perspective. To capture these photographs takes lots of luck and patience with a stubborn mindset for perfection. I am willing to drive, fly, swim, climb, crawl, and wait to discover the ideal image.
